Catherine
I was planning to maybe use them for my eighth grader, but they seem a bit too simple, though the write from the outline exercises are closer to being right for a 13 yo. No way is my 9 you ready to do those yet. What say you hive?

Well, last year at the PHP conf., someone asked SWB about these, and she said (with a chuckle) it was an experiment on her part to include them in a book for 4th graders. whitestavern
My fourth grader has a difficult time with them :( We tried it for the first 15 or so chapters, but I'm not going to use them when we pick up again in the fall. I am leaning towards just going back to narration.
