Jen in PA
It looks like our wonderful co-op science classes may not be continuing. I had planned to order MPH, but looking at my options, I am wondering about I-Science. Can anyone tell me about the differences? Which do you prefer and why? The topics and price look to be the same, so I'm really curious. Thanks!
Ummto4
I don't see the I-science in singaporemath website. Or do you mean I-science = interactive science ? If so, that's a junior high curriculum, not elementary.
Jen in PA
I'm looking at this one. The same site also sells MPH.

I've only glanced at it briefly, but my thought is that it probably covers almost exactly the same stuff (the syllabus is a national thing -- each curriculum publisher is writing with the same scope and sequence in mind) and if you like the looks of it, it's probably fine... The major differences would be in support... I like the SingaporeMath.com people for questions and help... and if I were starting now I'd be thrilled to have all the MPH users here to bounce ideas off (but I didn't have that back when we used it anyway, so I can't really say it would be a dealbreaker... LOL) Since it's not widely used here, and not available from our favorite distributor... I'm not sure if you're going to find any personal experiences to draw from. I've heard that that particular distributor has extremely slow shipping, but that's not from personal experience - just rumor. But I believe they are in Singapore, where the SingaporeMath.com people are in the US.

While I was waiting for a reply, I came across comments you had made about aligning Singapore Science levels with math levels, and that was very helpful to me. I'm going to go ahead and oder MPH 5/6 and do it slowly over 2 years with lots of add-ins. Thanks so much!
