These are for a 9yo, who is responsible and careful with her things. She does have a tendency to leave things outside though.:confused: Suggestions? Dad 4 Boys Posted May 23, 2010 Share Posted May 23, 2010 We've had good luck with two pairs of the Nikon Action series binocs. They aren't dirt cheap, but reasonable. DO NOT buy the cheap Redhead binocs at Bass Pro. We had terrible luck with 3 or 4 pairs of these. To their credit, Bass Pro did replace them as they went bad, but we eventually gave up on them.
