ChrissySC
We have a plethora of teaching resources and curriculum. Which one do you turn too for instruction or development? Wordly Wise, Vocabulary from the Roots Up, etc. There are far too many to mention. This is one of the few things left on my list that needs resolution. I do not want to wait until the last minute to develop for the SAT/ACT exams. I neglected to mention that dd is 9 - 4th grade. For the most part, we are the typical WTM. I would lean towards WW or VftRU, more than likely the latter. However, I would like to know what else there might be swimming in our world. :)
JudoMom
It's expensive, but I love Dynamic Literacy.

Geo
It's expensive, but I love Dynamic Literacy. :iagree: ...I will be using DL: Elements, next term. I initially bristled under the cost of the Teacher's Guide, but have accepted it as useful enough to be deemed necessary. The program just makes commonsense. Thanks again, JudoMom.:001_smile: Geo Edited May 10, 2010 by Geo
ChrissySC
I did visit and read. I do believe this is a very logical approach. At this point, I am trying to top this program. I was amazed at the actual vocabulary development versus simple memorization. This is certainly the goal for "decoding" a word's meaning minus a dictionary, which I can never find in my house. OT - we must have 5 or 6 various dictionaries, and the only one I haven't lost is installed on the computer! <giggle>
