Crissy
I'd like to use Susan's book rather than the suggested Western Civilization text. Do those of you familiar with Omnibus know of any reason this would not work?
Moira in MA
I see no reason that it shouldn't work. You'll have to make your own schedule for readings, but we always modify the referenced reading in Western Civilization anyway.
Crissy
Thanks, Moira. I couldn't think of anything that would be problematic, but those who've gone before me are wonderful about pointing out those things which don't automatically occur to my little brain! :D
Cedarmom
Sounds like an awesome idea. I think it will work great.
pixelroper
I asked this somewhere else... I believe I butted in as I'm doing here :Dsorry. I was wondering the same thing... glad to here this. Thanks.
Julie in GA
I ask because I believe that Spielvogel's text has much more primary source material, while SWB's is more of a narrative. It's going to depend on what focus you want.
Caia
I'd like to use Susan's book rather than the suggested Western Civilization text. Do those of you familiar with Omnibus know of any reason this would not work? I was wondering if you decided to go this route. I am looking into possibly going this route next school year and would love to hear if you or anyone else have started to make a plan.
