sixglides Posted March 20, 2010 Share Posted March 20, 2010 Does anyone know pro / cons of this? I'm looking to fill in some weak areas, for us, English. I really need the self-schedule, as we're adopting two little ones. It needs to be very manageable. We also were looking at Spanish, health, home ec??? Any input would be helpful. My 9th grader will also be doing physical science, LOF Algebra II, Sonlight world history/Bible, piano, choir Our public school system is adding an online high school academy at no cost. We've considered that, but as it is new, no one can really tell us how it will work. We're hoping to go pick up our new kids in May & I want to have all these decisions behind me. amtmcm Posted March 20, 2010 Share Posted March 20, 2010 For independent English, I would recommend CLE. Their reading program does a great job of teaching literature analysis. We're happy with SOS for Spanish. The initial installation takes a long time, but after that it's very easy to use and I'm satisfied with the results. I would also consider the Health.
