Aubrey
I thought the kids might like something like Darby O'Gill, but I didn't think about it in time to get anything from the library, so I've been searching Hulu, etc. to no avail. Suggestions? TIA!
dangermom
I suggest looking for the Secret of Roan Inish, which is one of my all-time favorite movies ever, but I have no idea if it's available online. Aha, it's in installments on youtube. Edited March 17, 2010 by dangermom
Aubrey
I suggest looking for the Secret of Roan Inish, which is one of my all-time favorite movies ever, but I have no idea if it's available online. Aha, it's in installments on youtube. I don't think I've seen that one, although I've heard of it--what ages would it be appropriate for, do you think? My kids barely watch anything that's not animated. Not that they watch everything animated, either, lol. I'm actually a little iffy about Darby O'Gill because I can't remember much of it. :001_huh: But it's really a movie night here, so hopefully one of them will work! :001_smile:
dangermom
Sorry, I'm late! It's pretty much appropriate for all ages--it's a fairy tale really. Except for the one bit where the baby is taken out to sea--I didn't let my kids watch that bit for a while.
