newlifemom
I have an 11 yr old dd, who posed an interesting question to me a few weeks back. "Are boys more argumentative than girls?" Being the ever-mindful hsing mom that I am, I decided it would be a great project for her. I thought it would be good for her to learn how to conduct research. Well, we're stumped. We went to the library hoping to see if we could figure out how to make a [reasonably] scientific poll, but were unsuccessful. Does anyone here have any ideas how I could turn this question into a [again, reasonably] scientific research project, or was this just a silly wish from a draconian hsing mom? TIA! kewb
It is a very subjective question. Lots of variables. Did you ask your librarian? They often have great ideas. One way to gather data would be to poll people at a supermarket or your house of worship. An equal number of males and females. Further broken down into parent/non-parent.
