Hikin' Mama
I've been messing around with it, but haven't figured out if it can be done. Can it? TIA!
Parrothead
Are you looking for three columns on an 8x11 page? To do that grab a Text Box from the menu, arrange it so it takes up a third (or half for two column) of the page minus a little less for margins and then copy it. Click somewhere on the rest of the page (this is important so you don't paste a text box into a text box) then right click and paste two times. Arrange the other two boxes parallel to the original. You can then add photos into one of the text boxes. If you want a two column photo shrink two boxes to the same height then pull down another text box and put it in the area you have cleared. If you want to remove the lines from the text boxes, mouse over one of the lines, right click and choose the format button. From there you can remove the lines. Good luck
cimhog
The easiest way is to use an existing template. You can find many templates here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/default.aspx
cougarmom4
I'm not sure what type of newspaper you are looking to do, but here is a template that I've used for my kids to do writing projects before: http://www.educationworld.com/tools_templates/newsletter1.doc There are also a lot of other graphic organizers on that website.
