It was after dinner and the college DS is most intereted in called him. Yes, DS had received calls from colleges we had never heard of or ones that he wasn't even remotely interested in. But this was Case Western and DS is really interested in attending there. The question is how to come up with the funds....... The caller was a student, a junior in chemical engineering, the major DS is interested in, calling to answer any questions he might have about the school. They chatted for close to 45 minutes about classes, internships, co-ops, paying for college, college life and even dorm food. So in this stressful time of applying, remembering scholarship deadlines, getting recommendation letters, submitting mid-year reports, filling out FAFSA and filing taxes and waiting for acceptance letters and awards to arrive last night was a bright spot.
