I would like them to be Christian based and read in an exciting manner. We already have all of the Jonathan Parks series. I am looking for something more academic that covers more topics. homeschoolally Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 I don't know if I'd call them exciting, but my 6th grader listens to the High School Apologia Audio CDs. They're only about $15 each, and contain all the text from each book. They've been a great addition to our homeschool, and even though some of the material is over his head now--it is great exposure and fairly painless! Heads up, Chapter 1 of the General Science book, the first one, is pretty slow. It picks up considerably after that.
