Does the Golden Children's Bible stick closely to Scripture?

I see that the Memoria Press uses it in their Bible studies.

We will be finishing our beloved Vos Child's Story Bible (again!) soon and want something to go through before we start the Illustrated Family Bible with Ancients in the fall. (This is for dc 6 and 10-we do read the regular Bible in devotion time, but we still like a nice meaty "story" Bible to read for fun at lunchtime!)

IIRC, It is straight Bible, just the stories though. You won't get the the laws of being a priest or the begats. Dd used MP's Christian Studies and read through that book in 3 years. Hard program though. I would only recommend it for advanced 3rd graders. She is a pretty bright child and it was a struggle for her.

Thanks so much-I didn't plan to do the Memoria Press with it, actually. Just read the Golden Children's Bible through as a family.

It bothers me so much when children's Bibles deviate from Scripture. My older is acquainted enough with Scripture that it really bothers her too. I think the Vos does a good job.
