I love the idea behind the SOTW books -- that history is chronological and that kids get a feel for what's happening all over the world, not just one area. Have any of you added in SOTW with a SL core? I see in Core 6, they actually do include SOTW anyway, so yes, of course I could add it...just didn't know if it would be too much. I wouldn't add book 1, but just start in the time period we're currently studying. It looked like fairly simple reading, so I'm assuming it would not be a ton more to do. Am I nuts? prim*rose Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 We use SOTW with SL history - they actually go well together for us and are more of a supplement to SOTW.
