Jean in Wisc
Dh is spending more time at home now that his job has changed, so yes, he makes a meal when he feels like it now and then. For the last 2 years he worked 4 to 5 days on the other side of the state. When he was home, he was on a tractor or combine. During those times the house, the kids, the farm, and everything else were my responsibility unless he did something over the phone--calling about a broken septic system or whatever. And yes, it bothers me, but there are no good options. Whether I am right or not, I think this is his home as well as mine, and that we should share the responsibilities of caring for the home and the family. I understand that I, being the one at home, is going to do most of it most of the time. My dd does do a lot around the home, so it is not as though everything depends upon me. Maybe that is enough of a break. I really appreciate that she is willing to help. I was sick today, and so was my dd. Dh made both lunch and dinner!!!!! Maybe now that he is working here a few days each week, he'll be around to do a few things--at least until planting season starts:001_smile:. That would be very nice.
