staceyobu
Would this work for a kindergartner that is reading on a second grade level? The lessons looked light and easy... I could shorten some of the copywork. The samples looked like a perfect fit... I just thought I could maybe get some advice from someone who has actually seen inside the entire book!!! riada
I am using this for my dd6 and it has been a great fit. From what you have said I think it is worth trying. We haven't had to shorten any lessons as we find them to be light and perfect for where she is at in her learning. Hope this helps!
happyWImom
I am using this with my dd, who is 7 & 2nd grade reading, and it's been great. We are kind of combining it with WWE, and it's a perfect fit. But, I was thinking about starting my ds who's almost 6 & reading well on it also. kindermommy
My son is 5.5 and reading on 2nd grade level and could do this book just fine. However, I would shorten the copywork for HIM. He writes beautifully (better than my 6.5 yo DD!) but he tires very quickly, so he does not have enough "writing stamina" LOL :) We are just starting this book with DD 6.5 and she could do several lessons a day with ease, so we will supplement with WWE (for narration) and other Queen's copywork books. LLFVY really seems to cover so many areas in one neat compact book!
