Suzanne in ABQ
Recently, I heard on the radio (npr, I think), part of a book that was being read aloud on the air. It was a story, written in the first person, about a Chinese young man who was in love with a Japanese girl during WWII. The girl's family was being detained in an internment camp, and the young man went to see her. I was fascinated by the story, but I can't remember the title or author. I'd love to read it. Did anyone else hear it or have any idea what it's called? I'm sure I'd remember the title if I heard it. Thanks.
