HappyGrace Posted November 25, 2009 Share Posted November 25, 2009 DD9 has to be on it for 6 weeks for Lyme disease! I'm so concerned because staining of teeth can be a side effect. momofkhm Posted November 25, 2009 Share Posted November 25, 2009 and I don't have any tooth staining at all. I think it was a year, then off for a while and then another year. Other than getting rid of the acne, partially, the greatest benefit to being on the doxycycline was that when the dog tripped me and I needed stitches, I was already on an antibiotic so I didn't have to get a new one.
