Pip
Is there much difference between the current edition of this program the the one immediately preceeding it? Is one preferred over the other? I know that in some books the latest edition is not always the best. TIA!
Paula in PA
The editions from 2005 onward are pretty much the same from what I understand. The was the last major revision. As for what's best, when it comes to science, I prefer the most recent versions, since they should include any major breakthroughs/updates. AngieW in Texas
The 2000 and 2003 editions are nearly identical page-for-page. The 2005 editions up to the current edition are all pretty much the same. Most of my books are 2000 edition, but I started using the series in 2005, so they weren't very old back then. If I was buying the series right now, I would probably look for the 2005 edition since it's very nearly the same as the current edition but should cost a lot less.
