mazakaal
Could someone check the copyright page of their Analytical Grammar student workbook? I'm wondering, if I buy the AG set for $100, if I need to buy another student workbook or if the authors allow for copying of the workbook within a family. Thanks. mazakaal
Bummer. I was hoping to not have to fork out $60. Oh well. Thanks for looking it up for me. :001_smile:
Mandy in TN
Steps to Good Grammar and Understanding and Using Good Grammar by Walch are very, very similar to Analytical Grammar and they are reproducible. ekarl2
Could someone check the copyright page of their Analytical Grammar student workbook? I'm wondering, if I buy the AG set for $100, if I need to buy another student workbook or if the authors allow for copying of the workbook within a family. Thanks. All our books are copyrighted 1996. A teacher book from 13 years ago will still work with student books purchased now. It took my mom 12 years to get AG the way it is. Other than fixing typos (which breed in the computer at night), there are NO plans to change it.
mazakaal
I don't think you understood the question. I have a 6th grader and 8th grader with whom I want to do AG this year. I haven't purchased any of the AG books yet and was wondering if I have to buy the $100 complete set for the 8th grader and another $60 workbook for the 6th grader or if I could just copy the 8th grader's workbook for the 6th grader. I know with the IEW workbook I just bought I was able to copy the workbook for use within my family and wasn't sure what the AG policy was on copying books for use within a family. I got the answer from a previous poster who typed the copyright from her book. Thanks. :001_smile:
choirfarm
Gulp... I was doing this with my 9th and 7th grader. It was too hard for my 7th grader ( we've just done chapter 1, so I stopped) . I was really supposed to fork out 160 dollars for grammar???? I'm doing my misc. stuff I have for my 7th grader now and just letting my 9th grader do it. I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to do that. I'm guessing one of the previous posters was the daughter of the writer. Just FYI, that is cost prohibited especially when other products are so much cheaper. The 100 dollars was high enough to make me think a lot, but I justified it thinking it was really for 2 people. I would make people able to copy it within a family. Christine
