Susie in MS
I have been looking at the history/Bible/geography guides and I really like them. Among other things, I like that they are supposed to be good for 1st grade. My questions: If your child was in the 1st grade how did s/he handle the Bible reading? Did you use the KJV? Did your child understand it well? If you started using this before 1st how old was your child? Did it go over his head?
Guest Cindie2dds
Susie ~ You might get more responses from the SCM forum. I just ordered the Genesis to Deuteronomy "spine," and I'm probably going to wait until January (my oldest will be 6 then) to start. We have some other things we haven't used yet that are more for her age, and I don't want to get into a schedule with her yet. I would click around on the website, there are so many wonderful things that are completely free; scripture memory box being one of many. Her curriculum guide makes a lot of sense to me, especially lining up the Bible with History. HTH!
