dangerdad
The shower should peak tonight, with about 60 meteors / hour. The Bad Astronomer has some info and tips on viewing. Jupiter is also up tonight and it's been beautiful lately. Edited August 11, 2009 by dangerdad

Ibbygirl
OOOH OOOH I saw one! hehehe I didn't expect to see one at all since I'm in the city and with so much light all around from businesses and street lights, plus it was 6am when I went outside to wait for my son's school bus to come, but I kept scanning the sky and I think I saw some fainter ones, but I'm not sure if it was my eyes playing tricks on me or if I actually saw them, but I did see one bright one shoot down from the sky! Very cool! :)
katemary63
DD8 and I grabbed a blanket and pillows and lay out on the lawn last night. We saw about 15 bright meteors shooting across the sky! So exciting!
