sandalwood
Is there a big jump in their English series from 5 to 6? I have a sample of 6 at home from their catalog, but it's not enough info to really tell. I have the 5 book at home. I'm just wondering if it jumps significantly in how hard it is? Thanks for any info.
Jane
We didn't think so. FWIW, my experience is that if your student keeps plugging along with R&S you won't ever feel a big jump. HTH.

Wonderful! Thanks for replying! We've used it for 3 years now and I was hoping he could handle 6 easily. I was just curious. Thanks!:)

Thanks for any info. It is generally recommended not to "jump" into 6 without doing 5. (I don't know if that's what you meant.) In other words: There's not a big jump from 5 to 6, but if you were to jump from 4 to 6 you might encounter some difficulties.
Magic Wand
That said, we've been using R&S English since grade 2 or 3. I loved having Christine's lesson plans last year! Thank you again, Christine! We're switching to AG grammar this year and will see how it goes. W
