I don't feel like I need the answers, so I just use the student book. That could change, as we aren't very far along, but so far so good. And I like that I can use the student book, read the lesson to her, discuss, and then hand her the book for her to look at the exercises. That way we can do them orally, no writing (pencil-phobic dd, remember). If I had only the tm, how would I show her things to discuss? No, if you're only getting one, get the student book.
