athena1277
We're still learning the DC area. I have a friend who will be in DC for work this week and I am trying to find a not too expensive place for us to meet and eat. Somewhere in the Foggy Bottom or Metro Center area preferred. And food that picky eaters and kids would like:glare:. Thanks so much!:001_smile:
nukeswife
We just got back from a trip to DC and thought the restaurant America at Union Station was amazing. All my picky eaters found something they loved. They even had a PB&J sandwich for my youngest (he's been on a PB&J kick) My husband had the best cheesesteak sandwich he'd ever had. My mom had a turkey dinner that was just like Thanksgiving and I had a fabulous steak. I know it's not Foggy Bottom/Metro Center, but we stayed near GWU and found it easy enough to hop on the Metro and ride it right to Union Station. RegGuheert
Potbelly Sandwich Works is one of my favorite places and I *think* the chain started in DC. I've been to several of the DC locations and they have all been good. Enjoy!
