Quiver0f10
I know the ACT they aren't so they are encouraged to answer evertything. Is the SAT different? If they don't know something should they leave it blank? Thanks.
Susie-Knits
Number correct - (number missed)(0.25) = raw score The raw score is then correlated to a score on the 800 scale. Looks like you can either not answer a couple or miss a few and still get 800 from looking at the scale in the "Official SAT 2" book. DO you have one taking SAT 2 tomorrow? My oldest is taking SAT 2 Math 2 tomorrow morn. susie

Unless a student is quite sure they know the correct answer, they will lose less by not answering. some of the strategy books recommend not attempting an answer you are unsure of unless you can absolutely narrow it to two possibilities, and you are pretty sure of the correct one.
