I've heard these snotty comments as being called "drive bys" where someone says something so rude and inappropriate that they might as well have socked you. I'm so sorry. I agree with everyone here: make sure she understands that you're legal. Her "people" skills are in the toilet. As if you didn't know. Nobody should be that rude to you. It's ridiculous.
