Guest MarkF
Hello, all! I've not been around much or posted here in years, but it's good to be back. Glad you are here and we've appreciated the help we've gotten from WTM and you over the years. :) In a nutshell, one of our dds will be a sr. next year and we're wondering if there's a place online (even here?) where she can post some of her thoughts, comments, even book reviews on some of the Brit Lit she'll be reading next year. (She's done online English courses with message boards for the class before, but we're looking for a way for her to get some worthwhile feedback from peers and/or adults in addition to her parents if we do things just at home.) I searched around here some and didn't see any examples of that here, but I see where high schoolers are encouraged to post here. Other web sites that might be suitable may work, too. TIA! :) Mark
Julieofsardis
She might want to state that she is a student, but other than that I think it would be fine. Actually, I would love to see it. Julie
FloridaLisa
What about the Well-Educated Mind forums? I haven't been over there in a while, but last I was, there were threads on various books. HTH, Lisa
Guest MarkF
Good ideas. I was thinking that she would say who she is each time & what she's doing, too. And I'll check the other forums, too. I noticed this one saying high schoolers welcome, though. Thanks again! Mark
Laurie4b
To read her book reviews would be beneficial to me and my family. I'd like to see her post them here. "Sparknotes" from a high schooler's perspective!
