  1. Well I'm kind of in the same boat, but fortunately I only have to pay for myself. The thing I do is meal prepping. It's not fun at all. I can make 1lb of meat, a jar of sauce, and a box of pasta last me 8 meals. Instead of eating a sandwich every day I've decided to switch to Pitas. They aren't as heavy and you can stuff them with a bunch of not so expensive veggies! Tuna fish is also quite affordable, throw some spinach in it, eat it on cucumber slices or crackers. For a while I did grilled chicken, veg, brown rice every day for weeks. IT got old real quick. You could try that with cooking it fresh every day if time is not an issue. I simply don't like cooking every day because my roommates are gross and I don't like being in the kitchen lol. My advice is to make a menu for yourself and whoever else you're feeding. Try to keep it simple. Leftovers are life.
  2. First, let me start off by sharing my regimen and how my skin looked before I started it. I've always had acne problems and the only thing that had helped was proactive, until it stopped working on my cystic acne. After I got off of proactiv my skin was the worst it's ever been. My entire face was red and thick with tiny pimples and my jaw looked like it had been splattered with pasta sauce. It was painful and disgusting to look at. I went to a dermatologist and honestly my skin now is the best it has ever been since first using proactiv. I still have the small acne bumps in my oily areas (t-zone, temples, cheeks) and sometimes around my period I'll get the cystic acne on my jawline. Along with that though my skin is just constantly red/pink. It gets even redder when I'm in the sun, after I put product on, or with any kind of intense emotion. I could be counting money for a long time and my face will start to heat up. (I work in a CU). Anyway, right now my regimen is this: AM: Skinceuticals LHA gel cleanser, clindamycin solution, cerave moisturizer, sometimes Elta MD sunscreen. PM: Neutrogena Ultra Gentle cream cleanser, Epiduo, sometimes cerave moisturizer. My skin is super dry except for the areas mentioned above and even the oily spots sometimes get flaky. I also have eczema on the backs of my legs aaand occasionally on the front if I don't moisturize twice a day. My skin is also super sensitive. I use unscented bar soap because I break out on my chest and back as well. I got the brains of the family...not the skin. I've heard great things about Paula's Choice items, but I wouldn't even know where to start. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp me!
