  1. Your title doesn't make sense. Why should you get rewarded for being honest? Being honest is what you do regardless of the outcome. How hard is it to slap a label on a package and stick it in the mail our send it with the ups next time they come?

Unfortunately there are so many dishonest people they have to have people send ridiculous to send back things. Otherwise people would be lying about receiving damaged items just to get things for free.

  2. I'm in my final stages of my training. I am where when doing clinical's I am in a primary roll with a preceptor making sure I can adequately meet clients needs. My preceptor is supposed to be quiet and shadow me but of course they are her clients. when talking to clients my preceptor either talks over me and answers clients questions or when I am done tells them the exact same things.or she just does the entire visit never letting me talk. When a client texts they usually puts us in a group text. My preceptor either answers before I do or answers the client to and tells them the exact same thing I did or maybe a little different but yet same point?

  3. Wow I'm sorry funeral costs are ridiculous. I'm so thankful we live in a community where you can bury someone yourself and don't have to go through the funeral homes. My fil had a friend that made his casket and a friend dig the hole his funeral cost us nothing. It was a community cemetery so we didn't even have to pay them

  4. As a midwife myself I think you should pay her her full fee. Here's why you are also paying her to be on call for you. That entails her being bound to be close to you not able to leave her area for the wks before and after your due date since she doesn't know when you will go into labor. She spent the same amount of money in expenses whether she was there a few hrs or a whole day. She worked for you. Would you have really wanted her to take more pics for you rather than get things ready for baby to come? She did take pic you did not contract how many she would take. Did she leave while you still needed her?

  5. It's never a good idea to drink from someone else's bottle or cup. I know this doesn't help you now, and I don't want to make you feel worse, but you have a very teachable moment here to teach your kids to never share a straw, a spoon, a cup, ... never!

I totally agree but hes 3 If I hadn't turned around to pick up the baby I would have saw it and stopped the drink sharing:(

  6. Please don't quote as I will delete later for privacy. My friend unbeknownst to me has type 1 herpes. She has a lot of blisters on her face that I thought was a allergic reaction. My child said he was thirsty. I didn't have any thing to drink with me and told him to wait. Before I could stop him she gave him some of her drink. About a week later he had blisters on his lips like hers. So I asked her what it was so I'd know how to treat it. She said "Oh I have Herpes it was a outbreak. It's ok its very common for people to have." I told her my son now has it. She then acted like it was no big deal. I'm going to take him to the dr. I'm livid I also, am very ignorant on the subject. Tell me am I overreacting for wanting her to pay for giving my child a infectious disease? Do I have any legal recourse?

  7. Yes, olive oil was actually on the list for the birth kid. Not sure what you mean by breast shells?

    Here is a link https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Avent-Comfort-Breast-Shell/dp/B000058DQJ/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1486826046&sr=8-1&keywords=breast+shells

They are really nice for the first few weeks of nursing. If you are prone to sore and cracked nipples. It helps your nipples breathe even when you have clothing on.

If you are prone to engorgement a milk saver is nice. /www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=milk+saver they are nice to get some milk out prior to putting the baby on the breast to avoid the baby gagging on the over flow. But your not pumping so your don't get more than just the first burst of milk that often chokes baby and makes them not want to latch.
