  1. Parents, please look into the issues with liability-free vaccines. We should all be reading the science, which is why I provided it here. You can’t sue the pharmaceutical industry for your child’s vaccine injury. The CDC is a vaccine distributor and holds over 20 vaccine patents and generates over $4 Billion in revenue for vaccine sales. Can you imagine if you couldn’t sue the pharmaceutical industry for Vioxx or fen-phen? There are many issues with the vaccine schedule. It has never been cumulatively safety studies. There are no vaccines on the childhood schedule save 1 that were ever safety studied using a placebo control group. If you want to read the science, look into this document sent to the HHS in response to the recent lawsuit filed by environmental lawyer Robert F Kennedy Jr who just won a landmark court case against Monsanto: http://icandecide.org/wp-content/uploads/whitepapers/ICAN Reply - December 31%2C 2018.pdf Here is a recent news piece by independent news broadcaster Sharyl Attkisson on Full Measure: “Today we investigate one of the biggest medical controversies of our time: vaccines. There’s little dispute about this much-- vaccines save many lives, and rarely, they injure or kill. A special federal vaccine court has paid out billions for injuries from brain damage to death. But not for the form of brain injury we call autism. Now—we have remarkable new information: a respected pro-vaccine medical expert used by the federal government to debunk the vaccine-autism link, says vaccines can cause autism after all. He claims he told that to government officials long ago, but they kept it secret.” http://fullmeasure.news/news/cover-story/the-vaccination-debate
  2. Yes, it does. Read on: Is pregnant, or thinks she might be pregnant. Pregnant women should wait to get MMR vaccine until after they are no longer pregnant. Women should avoid getting pregnant for at least 1 month after getting MMR vaccine. Meaning: Ask your doctor if you need them to advise you. Otherwise, TELL your vaccine provider (who these days could be a Walgreen’s pharmacist) if you’re contraindicated.
  3. Source? The data I’ve seen shows that measles infection (naturally acquired) actually prevents serious disease, including some aggressive cancers, later in life. “The study consistently revealed a lower cancer risk for patients with a history of febrile infectious childhood diseases (FICD). The strongest associations were found between patients with non-breast cancers and rubella respectively chickenpox. A strong association was also found with the overall number of FICD, both ‘classical’ (measles, mumps, rubella, pertussis, scarlet-fever and chickenpox) and ‘other’.” https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S030698779890055X “Our findings provide additional support to the hypothesis that infections by most common childhood pathogens may protect against Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) or, at least, be correlated with some other early exposure, which may lower the risk of Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) in adulthood. In addition, our study shows that measles may provide a protective effect against non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/16406019/
  4. Yes, the MMR is a combined measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine. Did you all know that Merck’s scientists are suing Merck for alleged MMR study fraud? “According to the lawsuit, Merck began a sham testing program in the late 1990’s to hide the declining efficacy of the vaccine. The objective of the fraudulent trials was to “report efficacy of 95% or higher regardless of the vaccine’s true efficacy.”’ http://ahrp.org/former-merck-scientists-sue-merck-alleging-mmr-vaccine-efficacy-fraud/ You seriously couldn’t make this stuff up...
  5. Look again! It states “Tell your vaccine provider” as in, they need to know you’re contraindicated and should NOT get the MMR.
  6. WOW!!! More opinions without a shred of scientific evidence. Way to go, Ktgrok! You win!!! Have fun with your vaccines 😊
  7. Sure! And the MMR is known to cause a list of known serious adverse reactions too.
  8. I’ve referenced it multiple times on this thread. You haven’t been able to find it? Scroll down to where it states Some People Should Not Get This Vaccine: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/hcp/vis/vis-statements/mmr.html
  9. We no longer give the whole cell Pertussis vaccine in the US due to high rates of serious neurological adverse reactions. So many parents were suing the pharmaceutical industry for vaccine injury that they threatened the government to stop manufacturing vaccines if the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act wasn’t signed to remove financial liability from the pharmaceutical industry for childhood vaccines. We now use the acellular Pertussis vaccine, which doesn’t prevent infection nor transmission of whooping cough. It CAN suppress symptoms, making those infected asymptomatic carriers who continue attending school and visiting babies while unknowingly spreading pertussis: https://www.pnas.org/content/111/2/787
  10. Look again Goldberry! If you include obesity, the rate of chronically ill children is 54%. Did you not see that? Again, 43% of our children now suffer from at least 1 of 20 chronic illnesses (NOT including obesity). And yes, neurodevelopmental disorders are included in this list. As I’ve said, neurodevelopmental, neuroimmune, and autoimmune disorders have skyrocketed in our children. You don’t seem to be informed on what neuroimmune disorders are, so here’s a good place to start, Goldberry: “Neuroimmune disorders refer to a group of illnesses that are the result of acquired dysregulation of both the immune system and the nervous system, most often resulting in chronic illness and disability.” https://praikids.org/what-is-pandas/ Neuroimmune disorders can present with OCD, tics, anxiety, developmental delays, behavioral issues/delays, and learning, attention, cognitive and social defects, etc. So important to be informed GoldBerry! No one claimed that the CDC stated that “43% of our children shouldn’t get the MMR.” What is clear from the scientific literature is that when 43% of our children now suffer from at least 1 of 20 chronic illnesses, including autoimmune and neuroimmune conditions (and NOT including obesity) that YES, that’s a heck of a lot of children who should NOT get the MMR, some according to the CDC, children who either have immune issues or have siblings/parents with immune issues should NOT get the MMR. Oh, and how big of a study of doctors would you like to see? The one I cited included over 1,000. That’s a good sized survey study. Are you familiar with study methodology in the scientific literature? Are you familiar with the scientific literature at all???
  11. No, wrong again. I suggest you reread this list of who the CDC states should NOT receive the MMR. No one is “talking about it.” It’s listed under who should NOT get the MMR. I know you desperately want to believe in the magic of vaccines, and by all means, go for it! But your claim above is uninformed at best. You’re giving your personal opinion without doing the research. You can decide to get the entire adult recommended CDC vaccine schedule twice- it’s your call. Just be informed when making that decision.
  12. I think it’s one of the strongest arguments against the MMR, a live vaccine that lists autoimmune disorders as commonly reported adverse reactions to the vaccine: “As of March 31, 2018, there have been more than 89,355reports of measles vaccine reactions, hospitalizations, injuries and deaths following measles vaccinations made to the federal Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS), including 445 related deaths, 6,196 hospitalizations, and 1,657related disabilities. Over 60% of those adverse events occurred in children three years old and under. Adverse events following MMR vaccination reported to VAERS include: lupus (autoimmune connective tissue disorder); Guillain-Barre syndrome (inflammation of the nerves); Encephalitis; aseptic meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain); deafness; cardiomyopathy (weakening of the heart muscle); hypotonic-hyporesponsive episodes (collapse/shock); convulsions; subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE); ataxia (loss of ability to coordinate muscle movements); parathesia (numbness, burning, prickling, itching, tingling skins sensation indicating nerve irritation) Transverse Myelitis Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM)” https://www.nvic.org/vaccines-and-diseases/measles/measles-vaccine-injury-death.aspx
  13. This is your argument? How many more times do you need to read it before you comprehend that patients with immune issues or who have a sibling or parent with immune issues are NOT supposed to get the MMR? No, Goldberry- the CDC doesn’t say to talk to your doctor. The CDC lists immune issues under who should not get the vaccine. Again, Goldberry: Science, not marketing. Time to put down the pharmaceutical marketing pamphlets and pickup the scientific literature. Or just reread the CDC’s description of who should NOT get the MMR.
  14. Me too! I had no idea anyone who claims to be pro-education would blatantly lie like you did above. You’re willing to deny the scientific evidence when it’s hiding in plain sight.
  15. Absolutely, when federal policy and leading neurodevelopmental experts claim both measles and pertussis vaccines can lead to an autism progression, seizures, and autism-like symptoms, we as parents have to be informed. Vaccine-induced Encephalopathy is brain inflammation that lists symptoms of the behavioral diagnosis of autism, and many children are left undiagnosed and untreated for years or for life since our media is not reporting it and our medical community is not trained to identify and report it. It’s a “thing” for parents who DID vaccinate, I can assure you. No, leading neurodevelopmental and pediatric neurologist Drs. Zimmerman and Kelly are not “anti-vaxxers” because they are conducting clinical research on vaccines and provided expert testimony under oath that they and their colleagues understand that vaccines can cause autism. We need our medical community and parents informed of federal policy regarding vaccine injury, as well as the IOM reports that state insufficient vaccine safety data (since the vaccine industry does not conduct placebo safety testing for liability-free vaccines). Parents are given the very juvenile public policy message that “vaccines are safe and effective” without being informed of federal policy and the IOM reports. How many parents aren’t being told that the CDC added that children should NOT get the MMR if their parents or siblings suffer from immune issues or seizures? 43% of our children now suffer from at least 1 of 20 chronic illnesses, including autoimmune and neuroimmune disorders. Folks, that’s a large number of children who are NOT supposed to get the MMR. Yet, even here on this thread, I’ve read comments by uninformed parents with a very juvenile understanding of vaccinations stating that our children should get the MMR. No, according to the CDC, they shouldn’t, if they are in the 43% of families suffering neuroimmune and autoimmune conditions. Please be informed before promoting medical interventions for children that you haven’t researched and don’t understand. Our children deserve informed parents.
