This might fit the bill since you want it for homemade bread.I gave up looking for good toasters and coffee makers a few years ago.GL

  2. I have been ordering from them for a very long time-at least 9-10 years, they were bought by Kroger 3-4 years ago.I did not see a big change in the products though shipping did get better after the buyout. They do pack things really well and I think in all these years had only 1 time where a product wasn't right and CS replaced the item!

Most things can wait while I browse these sites. Windows are going to be my priority, at least two of the bedrooms (master br and ds' br) plus the sliding glass door and the two other windows in the common area. We'll be closer to our neighbors than we are at this house so window treatments are at the top of my list. I'm so not good at picturing the final product. I'd just put up mini blinds and call it good because hey, no one can see in now, but I don't want to do that. I want it to look nice.

I'm thinking I'll look into getting a professional for the windows, or at least get some idea of what that would cost. Maybe not someone to actually do the windows but one of those design folks who come in and design for you. Everything else can be done slowly after I've spent more time browsing. ideas.

Would you consider hiring a design service like this https://www.stellarinteriordesign.com/design/  I think they do have even a paint consultation.I know my friends family used them.Oh I suggested the stores only as a place to piece together a look.I know Ethan Allen has a design consultation so maybe they took it online now worth checking.I hear you on the windows we had to hire window company to do the blinds before we moved-in price wise it worked out well because the person was referred by our realtor and she got the windows done in 3 days.GL

  4. Another idea is to try going to different websites like https://www.crateandbarrel.com/ https://www.ballarddesigns.com/  https://www.potterybarn.com/

You can request the catalogs and/or browse online see if there are any pieces you like and look at the way they put pieces together. You can of course buy from them or look at cheaper places like home goods for copy cat pieces.Target has good rugs as does World market. There are Wayfair and Overstock -I don't like overstock they send damaged goods and will not take the piece back.I don't watch any Hgtv shows and I don't fall into the trend trap as its hard to keep up. I buy pieces that last a long time and also that work well for our lifestyle and mostly don't really match everything to the T. For window coverings are you looking a curtains? longer length curtains are hard to find, but try west elm/JC penney.I have used Houzz app esp for wall colors. and storage ideas! One thing i have found is that I like Neutral walls-its so much easier to change up the decor.People say its easy to paint-not my house with open concept and 12-14 ft walls .For blogs I follow www.decor8blog.com, https://www.younghouselove.com/  https://www.thriftydecorchick.com/  There are a ton of blogs and websites these are some I have followed for a very long time.Hope this helps -Congrats on your new home!

Her iron runs low, so she takes 325mg of ferrous sulfate daily along with C and a handful of greans in her smoothie each morning. I will check to make sure she is still taking it. Sometimes she runs out of meds and forgets them for a while. LOL Usually, until  I ask about a certain med and she remembers that she ran out a month or two prior. Oi!

Oh really the Dr's thought that was going to be enough iron for her?Tap that could be a really legit reason for her to have the shortness of breath.I'd be looking at that -based upon everything I read up here on these boards about low iron levels I know floradix is probably the supplement to take, even now with my DS this has worked better than just Ferrous sulfate.I don't know much about POTS but how the iron supplement might affect her but I am throwing it out there.Gosh she needs a cardiologist to oversee all this!

Does a history of endocarditis put you in a higher risk category similar to having what would be considered 'heart disease' for Covid-19? Feel free to skip the rest of the post if you know a simple answer, it is just details of what is going on. DD21 had a port which got infected and she had endocarditis at Christmas. It took her a long time to fight the endocarditis (recovered) and it makes me wonder, if it is a risk factor, could Covid damage her heart more?

So bear with me for a bit endocarditis was caused by a port infection-so was she seen by an immunologist to check her immunity levels? Now if she has low IGG levels I would be really really cautious. My son's cardiologist pretty much said there is so much we don't know-that is why we have to pretty much be in self isolation. To answer your question according to sons cardiologist/immunologist yes endocarditis can enhance the risk esp if immunity is low .Its also such a nasty, hard to get rid of infection it takes a lot out your body as you already know. Was it this past Christmas? Given that she has asthma/pots/a heart murmur/endocarditis-I would say Yes definitely a risk factor.

Port was removed, endocarditis resolved (no significant damage to valve) but she was left with a functional heart murmur.  She has POTS which is a neurological disorder that affects her heart rate. She saw a cardiologist twice as a teen, and after the endocarditis we tried to schedule a follow up with him. He is the only POTS cardiologist in our area. He ended up in a pissing match with another doctor over her case several years ago, and I think he labeled  dd as a problem patient due to it. We tried to schedule a follow up with him after the infection since he has her previous echos to compare the post infection ones to. He sees his pediatric patients until 25yo or so) but refused the appt and told her to find an adult doctor instead of him.  She couldn't  get into a new cardiologist appt before all the practices stopped taking new patients in February/March. All of that to say, she is not being followed by a cardiologist at this time.

Too bad the cardiologist is being such a pain-so important to monitor the pots and the murmur.Hopefully you can find a new one and get the old echos sent to the new DR.At the least can you ask the pcp to monitor her?Can pcp send her to an imaging center -not this week but generally till she finds a cardiologist?I don't know if this helped you but if you ever have more questions do feel free to pm.
