Thanks for the insight. Yes, I will have to research more on different scope/sequence in higher grades and compare them. For right now, I think I'll go ahead with the R&S and supplement with Singapore (or possibly something else). Thanks for all the great insight.:001_smile:

Hi all! I'm new here (I should post an intro, lol). I'm almost all set for next year. I will have a ds in 3rd grade, a ds in 1st grade and a 3 y/o dd doing preschool stuff (and tagging along with big bros, lol). I basically have next year's school stuff. BUT, I'm stuck on math for my 3rd grader. I ordered R&S and while it's solid math, I'm wondering how well it prepares kids for higher level math (it only goes up to 8th grade). I'm looking at supplementing it with Singapore Math. Has anyone here used R&S math long term and then went onto high school math?? How did it prepare your child for that? Thanks so much. I'm soooo not a math person and I want my kids to be better at it than I was because I think it's important.
