  1. Thank you very much Sue! I printed your reply and will keep it in my binder for future reference.
  2. I always like to read your posts on Math. In your posts you have shared that you have a degree in Math. So, I thought you would be the best person to ask this question. I have a 5 year old and would like your input on what a very complete and rigorous math program would look like for elementary and middle school. If you could share specific curriculum for each of those grades (PK-8th), supplements, helps and any other thing that you could think of to make a wonderful math program for a child, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much!
  3. Thank you ladies. This booklist thing is starting to make more and more sense the more I read your responses. Does anyone know where to find this list: "There is actually a Sonlight booklist online somewhere, that is arranged according to the 4 year history cycle, with breakdowns for grammar, logic, and rhetoric stage. " that Colleen mentioned?
  4. Hi Ladies, I am about to start homeschooling this coming August. I am very excited about using TWTM to guide or homeschool. I have been reading on this board a lot and have noticed that many of you follow AO or SL for your lit. suggestions. From what I understand, TWTM suggests that children read literature written in the particular history period that they are learning about. For example, when studying about the ancients, read Aesops fables, The Odyssey, Greek and Roman myths, etc... For those of you that follow different literature suggestions, why did you switch? Thank you.
  5. Disclosure: This is also posted in the PK-8 Curriculum board, but Collen suggested that I post it here as well. Thanks..... I am super new to homeschooling. In fact, I haven't even started yet. We will probably start in one month. I own TWTM and do like very much what I read in it, so I think this is the route we will take. However, I would like to hear from WTM veterans. Now that TWTM has been in circulation for 10 years, I would love to hear your success stories. Who has used it since it first came out? Who has graduated their children using it for a good number of their homeschooling years? Any other success stories? Please share.
