What do you do in a marriage, when one spouse shows a repeated pattern of ignoring the other, and taking away its rights?

Honestly! After 10 pages, I can't believe no one brought this up... this very important topic. Naturally, with my board name, I am obligated.
No one should use their Crock Pot unless they use uh-hum... Crock Pot Liners. They are not just for warming weiners, either.

To the OP: I think you'd have better success asking this question on the high school forums, and offering many more choices on your poll. I have a very high regard for LoriM, Jann in TX, Jane in NC, and the other math whizzes over there.
In fact, their advice (and math expertise) has helped rescue us from some real pitfalls!
