  1. This will be our first full year of homeschooling. Started in December of last year and just muddled through for the second semester. I am only homeschooling my youngest for health reasons. I am really excited about both Logic of English and The Writer's Jungle. However, I am not really sure what either one of these should like through the week. I know LOE has everything scripted out but the workbook looks really easy for a 6th grader. We focused on grammar last year so I will not be adding a separate curriculum for that this year but review based on what is in the LOE lessons. I am also thinking 1 day of Daily Grams a week. For TWJ, I will have her do the Friday Free Writes. Unfortunately, I do not think I will be able to get the whole book read before school starts in three weeks. So, I am feeling lost as to what else needs to be done. I did not really like Arrow so I am not planning on incorporating it. I have also purchased a Total Language Plus booklet to try. I am not going to have her focus on the spelling words since she will already be doing LOE. Maybe this will help fill in the gaps with vocab, grammar, and some extra writing assignments. What are your thoughts on what a week should like for LOE & BW? I appreciate any words of advice!
