What options are out there for a semester of Trig?

Please compare and talk with me about options after high school graduation for DS. DS is graduating in May 2013. Neither I nor my husband went to college, so we don't really know much about the whole process. I attended Job Corp (bookkeeper, medical terminology, pharmacology) as I wanted something that would quickly give me the skills needed to get a better than entry level job soon after graduation. My husband went through an apprenticeship program. Thank you for any information, suggestions, etc that you are willing to share!

Our state requires public school graduates to have 24 credits. This does not apply to private, parochial, or home schools.
