  1. Definately could use spelling help . Nice suggestion there :) I understand its a marathon I do that's why I have been lax and just letting them go on their own with a little help. They have been with myself or my mother since birth she ran a daycare for 30 plus years. Just recently I noticed the kids at church and my soon to be 2 year old has language skills of the 4 and 5 year old kids. The 3 year old is ahead of her So I teeter on not rushing them and not giving them enough and risk them becoming lazy do enough to get by kids like a certain male relative who shall remain nameless.
  2. Been reading books and doing all those things looking for reading primers or early curriculum for the boy. Should have been little more specific :). I am am educator on many levels but preschool is not one.
  3. My wife and I are starting preschool for our oldest who just turned three. I run a Non Profit Jiu-Jitsu Based Community outreach program at an inner city school , where my wife teaches. With her busy all day I will be main teacher ( thank God I will have help with grammar and composition). To this point I have let him learn and discover on his own ,just feeding his interests. While he can show up the guide and the dinosaur exhibit of local museum with his knowledge I think it is time to move into more useful subjects. My question is where to start ? I have degrees in Physics and Music Education ,and am a qualified Jiu-Jitsu instructor and all of that means nothing when it comes to teaching someone to read. Help a brother with a direction Please !??
  4. just about to start schooling in earnest with my 3 year old. In Jackson Metro area.
