My sister did a Pooh baby shower for my first baby. She decorated with books and little stuffed animals that we still have after 16 years. But my favorite decoration was a framed picture of pooh that said something like "I knew when I met you, an adventure was going to happen". So, so true. Every time I pass that frame, I tear up. It's been quite an adventure.

Just found pork tenderloin on sale for $2.88 a lb. But, pork shoulder butt (never worked with that either) is 99c a lb. What is pork shoulder butt like?
The tenderloin would be divine, but the savings on the other would be really nice.
Oh, and how many lbs do you think? 4 oz per person finished product? There will be hot dogs to roast over the bonfire as well as baked beans and chips, spinach and artichoke dip, watermelon bowl of fresh fruits, cake, cookies, and punch.
Pork shoulder/ pork butt are the same. That is what I always make bbq pork with. Works nicely.

Yes, my older kids have checking accounts with debit cards that are linked to my account. I can transfer money to/from their accounts online. Extremely easy. You can even write notes that will show up on statements. I write one for each transfer like "babysitting 3/2" or "mowed lawn 7/7"

All stores were supposed to start taking credit on March 1. April was a trial month for some stores.

I've always wanted to see the cherry blossoms in dc and plan on going on a week day later this month. I'll have all 10 kids with me so I prefer to drive, as I've had bad experiences on the metro with little kids.
Does anyone have advice about how I could do this? Where should I park? I'd prefer not to have to cross too many roads with the little ones. Talk about anxiety. It'll be on a week day so hopefully not TOO crazy.

Nice! What did he barter for it?I hear ya. We have a long driveway of about a 1/4 mile. For a long time, DH wanted to have it asphalted and I could not bring myself to care to the tune of many thousands of dollars. Ultimately, he made a barter with the asphalt guy so it seemed like we got the driveway paved for free. Now that, I could handle.

I'd talk to her and be blunt. Tell her that YOU could go to jail if you allow him around your son. Tell her that SHE could go to jail if she allows him around your son. Case closed. Son's safety and security are your number one priority. If he shows up, call the police.
Look, it's time to be the "bad guy". Man up for your son. Move if you have to.
