Yeah, I know. Like, "I KNOW I HAVE TO INSERT MY CREDIT CARD!!!!!"
At the bottom of the screen, look for the little bullhorn icon and turn it downnnnnnnn. :0)
You are my new favorite person! Thank you!!! Now I will always think of you when at the self-checkout--haha!
Aldi checkout is OK because they don't bag, just throw everything in the cart, and I get to do my own packing.
The operative word is bolded above. ;)

My dh intensely hates the self-checkout process. He's more amenable now that I showed him how to turn off the robo-voice.
You can DO that??!! Please share!! :bigear: She's SO bossy!!

Ohmigoshyes.
All.The.Time. And everywhere he goes. He also tries landing it on the cap, which he managed to do today on a windowsill..
This has been going on for months now, and I keep thinking it has to go away soon or I'm going to go INSANE.
MONTHS??? :svengo: I'm doomed.
(But way to go on the windowsill landing, kid! :thumbup1: )

I use a small amount of Tide Free powder. An appliance repairman that I trusted once told me not to use the liquids in the washer or dishwasher because they were responsible for a lot of the clogs that the machines experience.
That was a number of years ago, so the liquids may be better now.

I'm familiar with the Apple, but not the Lemon. Sorry to hear it's generated sour feelings.

I haven't used Groupon before, but got a notice that a $20 Target e-card can be bought for $10 dollars, for use in stores or online. It ends tomorrow.
I just checked and this one says it's no longer available--bummer!

Needle felting?
Be careful! Last time I felt one, it was sharp!

At the third request I start fanaticising about what my life would have looked like if I bought a cactus instead of had a kid.

Could you cut up the entries and use a piece for judging, then sell the rest of the pie/cake/whatever in cut up pieces (individually) or groups of pieces (like 4 slices of cake or pie sells as one item)?

Yes. Nearly everything! I blame it on the biological stage of my body. :glare:

That is incredibly touching, Teresa! How wonderful that your husband was that kind of man, and what a blessing to have such a precious son-in-law!
Continuing to pray for you... :grouphug:

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Services are over and we are just stunned by the love and support of everyone. So many people came from all over. My dh was a quiet man unless you really got to know him. He was very highly regarded for his honesty and integrity in both his personal and professional life. There is such a hole in my heart right now. We married at 18 and were married for 38 years. He truly was the love of my life and I miss him greatly. I am thankful that I have all 10 of my dc and all 7 of my grandbabies here. They have been such a help and comfort to me. Our youngest is 13, so please pray as we go forward. Again, thank you so much for all the love you have shown me.
How wonderful that you are experiencing such love and support! It sounds like your husband was a man to be proud of.

Last year I attended an art exhibit. Rather than use paint, the 'paintings' used dead flies. (I guess you'd call it mixed media.) The works were amazing albeit somewhat unsettling.

And my thought was that I'd heard of a tiger in the bedroom but never a bat.
Regards,
Kareni
Maybe you're just sexier than we are, Kareni!
(And maybe I should just speak for myself! Sorry, Jean!)

I'll admit to being a bit picky...I've never had anything really squished, but it bugs me the way they toss in things like Clancy's Baked Chips. :glare: But not enough to stop saving money. :thumbup1:
