Oh, honey. It's not like you were perched on a bar stool, getting drunk at the local pub.
Moms need to leave the kids at times. It could have happened when you were grocery shopping or at the library.
I hope DS heals quickly.
Take it easy on yourself!

Don't be so hard on yourself! :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Yes, this has happened to me! My optometrist prescribed Bepreve eye drops and when I tried them the taste in my mouth was so foul I had to stop. I'd rather have itchy, dry eyes than experience that again. I tried eating chocolate to get rid of the taste but it was no use. Yuck. If you must continue using them you might try some kind of strong tasting food or maybe a menthol lozenge or something? IDK.

My SIL refers to her youngest as her " little Dexter" from the tv show IYKWIM.

I know someone who recently moved to Pikeville from an urban area. He moved there for work, he works at the hospital. He told me that as long as he is at the hospital he is happy but living in Pikeville isn't quite what he expected. I wouldn't be surprised if he left there as soon as he was able. It is a really beautiful area, but pretty remote.

I am the leader of a Lego Club through our local 4-H. We meet at the extension office.
We meet for 1.5 hours one afternoon a month. I supply the Legos (they belong to my ds) and the kids can bring something they have built at home. I also try to bring some books and magazines we have related to Legos.
We start the meeting by letting them "show and tell" their personal creations. Then we set those aside on a separate table and open up the boxes of our Legos. They have free time to play and build whatever they want. Often they will pair up and work on projects together. Then at the end I have them share and explain what they have built. I allow 5 to 10 minutes for clean-up at the end.
We usually have 12 to 15 participants at a meeting, boys and girls, homeschooled and not.
My main role is to bring the Legos, help kids find pieces they are looking for and just watch. They don't need any instruction, they seem happy to just build.
I do have a couple of rules developed from experience: listen and be quiet while others are sharing, no play fighting or battles (too many hurt feelings) and do not put the Legos in your mouth. :)
HTH. I have really enjoyed being a Lego Club leader.

I used to be LE and a firefighter, so no, *I* wouldn't.
LOL, okay, but I am still shocked at what some people call 911 for :001_smile:.

Seems that particular lady used the EMS system as chauffeur service.
The same crew brought her back home about 7 hours later. She'd waited several hours for the doc to see her.
This happens all.the.time.
You would be shocked to know what some people call 911 for.
