Do you need to buy or borrow extra books from the library?

Thank you for the replies. I wanted to know if there was retention and whether you need both the workbook and the teacher guide. How long does it take to do a lesson? Lastly do the kids like it?

I am planning on starting it with my 5year old DD has anyone bought the textbook,AG and audio version? Which one can I leave out or is it helpful to buy all three? Thank you

We use it as a supplement there is not enough practise or concepts to use as a sole curriculum in my opinion. We are currently using the elementary series my daughter likes it.
