This is just great. I'm so glad that all is not lost! Phew! I'll see if I can find that site for the recipe by momof7.
Thanks again, everyone!

I WANT to serve them with ice cream (actually I want to just sit down in front of it and eat it all!), but I need them for a shower of 100. So, I was thinking of making trifle.
-
They didn't turn out like i wanted and I can't serve them at a shower. Maybe I could turn it into a trifle?
Anyone have a recipe I could use?
Thanks.

Here's the instructions:
I put the "crust" in the bottom of the pan. Now I'm supposed to lay a sheet of parchment paper on top of the crust and cover with dried beans.
I've got no parchment paper, nor even waxed paper, and it's a holiday here in Canada. Can I use aluminum foil? What else can I do?

....of pans for a shower I'm throwing for my nephew. Then I HAVE to thaw all of them to serve. I'm just concerned that there's going to be lots of leftovers. It'd be great if I could refreeze them for company or something like that in the future.
-
....then thawed them and served them....could I refreeze any leftovers, or is the freezing a one-time deal?
Also, are there any ingredients that might be in different bar recipes that don't thaw well after freezing?
Thanks!

I'm looking into purchasing a new blender, and it seems that it's a tie between the two mentioned in my title. Which should I go for?

There's one f word at the end. This is hilarious, so it kinda makes up for that. :D

...calling Houston's or going to a naturopath?

I was 12 when I accepted Christ. I had never gone to church before, and after a couple of months I was invited to our youth leader's home where I accepted Christ. It wasn't a verse; it was the relationships with the people that made a difference for me.
See you tonight! :D

I think it's really neat. I love Lost...and those babies are so gosh-darn cute. ;)

You've got to like Ali G, or that kind of humour to like this....

I've been juicing with a really cheap juicer and want to purchase a good quality one. I've been reading that twin gear juicers are the best...but at $400-$500 (or more) they're quite costly. If you juice frequently, what do you find works for you?

I have a food processor and I'm happy with it. For now I've been using it to make smoothies. It works fine. Eventually I'd like to make almond milk and other things that one would normally use a blender for. Do you think that I should invest in one, or just stick with my processor? What does one NEED a blender for (for instance, I'm thinking that it might blend stuff more thoroughly than a food processor)?
Thanks! :)

...for answering my thread. I'll write down your ideas and plan accordingly!

My family is coming here for a wedding! Hip hip hooray!!!!! So we've got a handful of adults and a whole slew of kids. My SIL says to keep it simple (if we ate hot dogs all weekend, I'm sure they'd still be happy).
So tell me:
breakfast, lunch, and dinner ideas
Quick, easy, cheap.
Thanks! :)

My dd, 10, likes the Sisters in Time series.
Going on vacation, leaving kids at home. Would love ideas for gifts/letters to write.

Kids (dd10, ds9, dd5, ds2) will miss me being gone for 14 days. I'd love to pre-write daily letters so they have something from me daily.
That could be a little boring. What could I do to spice it up? I'm thinking of giving them a special gift halfway through (initialized necklace, bracelet, or something like that), also I could include a picture with the card....any ideas?
Thanks! :)
