Hi this year a friend is homeschooling her son 7th grade and wants to homeschool with me along with my K, 7th and 10th grader. She wants to do all the same classes I am doing with my 7th grade son. I am feeling overwhelmed at the thought of doing ALL the classes together. She wants to meet every day. I feel it will be too much. I have three to homeschool and she has the one. I also have a 1 year old baby. I was thinking of offering to meet twice a week to do certain subjects together like science or history discussions. Can you help me with different scenarios that may work?

I wanted to thank everyone for their input. I am praying and figuring out what it is I really want. I think I am trying to find something like TOG but not. I do like TOG but my children wanted to try something different and with a tighter budget this year I really did not want to spend all that money on the curriculum without any of the books. THANKS AGAIN! Back to doing research I go while on my knees! : )

Hi I want a history curriculum with real books. I have used TOG and would like something similar but not TOG. Has anyone used any of these and could comment or compare to TOG?

a 7th grader boy, 10th grade girl and a 5 year old boy. I have used TOG not sure if I want to do that again. I was thinking about Sonlight but not sure. Considering Truthquest and History through the ages (?) by Miller. Also possibly Beautiful Feet. Please help me decide. I love using real books.

Hi

for 7th grader I have used TOG, Elementary apologia which he is bored with now

teaching textbooks which will probably continue

I guess I need suggestions for grammar, writing and history

and science

He is solid academically

and I like Christian curriculum

 

I love the WTM but never really implemented the whole program

just used some suggestions
