I am buying it but am a bit disappointed with the offerings. It was worth it for me, because I planned on buying Confessions of a Homeschoolers lit guides/lapbooks anyways, which would have cost me the same, but there isn't a whole lot else I am interested in. I own a lot of the items in the bundle already. The Chalk pastel lessons are cool and I am excited about the 40% off code for Harmony Fine Arts for purchasing but not much else. Do you all see anything you are very excited about in the bundle?
Here is the link to the titles: http://www.homeschoolomnibus.com/your-new-library/
ETA: I already own God's Little Explorers (which I am very impressed with), Raising Rock Stars Preschool (also great) and SQUILT (which looks good. We plan on doing it this year).

They told me the storage fee was $5. I had them take it off. I think it is a bunch of bull.
-
Yes, my sixth Grade teacher did all the time and so did my 7th grade teacher. I went to a Christian school.

I love the interactive quality of it. Once the lapbook is done my daughter treasures it and looks over it often. She enjoys opening and looking at the flaps and reading the answers she wrote. I think it is a great way to help cement learning.
ETA: I prefer pre-cutting the lapbook components for my kids. I think if they had to do all the cutting, writing and gluing, they might not enjoy it as much.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Literature Lane Classes. My kids learn so so much and interact so much with Mrs. Redekop and have homework they can do. We have done her Robert Munsch groups of classes, Fractured Fairy tales set, Summer Literature Extravaganza set and her Authors Set. They were all phenomenal!! We are signed up for a bunch of her future classes. I have as much fun as my kids. The classes really inspire my daughters.
The Founders Academy classes are also great. I learn as much as my kids. There isn't as much one on one teacher interaction. She speaks more to the class, but they are really well done. We have done a ton of her single history classes. She is a bit strict but so as to reign in the off topic chat that goes on in some other classes.
I do not recommend 4 Little Penguins classes. I did her Olympics one and Captivating Cats. I found the classes were more of a chat fest. Most of the facts were things I could have found myself on the internet. The videos were Youtube videos and had a ton of lag.

I saw this posted on Facebook and though some of you would be interested. These books are different then the ones I posted a while back. I didn't own any of these. My internet is suppose to go down sometime today until Thursday morning so I will not be able to update when these are no long free. Hopefully they will last a while.

I hate to think these decisions are being made based on rumors.
Where there is smoke there is often fire. If many people are saying the same thing I would be inclined to believe it.

I love how deep Guesthollow is and how many book choices they are. It is so easy to make it work for you. I am doing it as a supplement to our American History this year.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! It looks terrific!!

I thought this might interest some of you. HOAC has their lapbooks on sale for $3 excluding their template pack. I was so excited because they have lapbooks to go along with all the Creation science curriculum's that were included in many of the bundles that were in the recent Build Your Own Bundle sale.

That is a bit mean. I wonder if she knows?
I emailed her and she is so kind. She says she is going to try to reset the coupons. Yay!! Hopefully they will still be active Wednesday night when we get paid. I really want Elements. :)
-
You are amazing and oh so kind! Thank you so much!! I love everything of yours that I have ever looked at!!

Coupon limit reached :cursing: for Elements
Oh no!! I haven't bought anything from the three sales advertised on www.homeschoolgiveaways.com because they said they went until the 7th. I was going to purchase on the 6th when our next pay check went through. This check was used almost completely on water and rent. I just wrote on their Facebook page and mentioned the code isn't working. Hopefully it will get rectified.

Were you able to get the discount code to apply to the Holy Land digital version? It appears if you buy combinations, you get CDROM sets pretty cheap, but the Holy Land one does not discount for me?
I'm actually waiting until August 6 to purchase when our check clears. This weeks check is used up with rent and our water bill. Homeschool Giveaways is great about answering questions on their Facebook. You could mention the issue there. I am sure it would get fixed quickly.

Woman you are the Deal QUEEN!
Funds are tight so I am always looking for a deal. :) I watch a ton of deal sites and publishers on Facebook and through email. It's amazing how many awesome sales there are! I know so many other homeschool families are in the same spot and like to share the really good deals.

Well this seems to be the week for homeschool sales. Homeschoolgiveaways just posted about A Child's Geography 40% off sale. I am wanting the digital version of their Holy Land book, so am excited.

I was so happy to see this sale: http://homeschoolgiveaways.com/2014/07/write-from-history-40-off-sale/

Wow. I cannot believe they refused to give paper planners or even .pdf's to the paying customers who could not use the faulty software. That is disgusting!
-
Did you all get one of the planners or all of them? I have never had a TOS planner before, they look great. I got the Mama one and the Primary one. I was wondering if I should have gotten the intermediate one for future, some pages are not dated.
-
I really like Spectrum workbooks (that some look down on) and am using them as parts of our main curriculum. We are going to use them mainly for Math and LA for example. We supplement them with apps and some fun math packs/games and mom made LA stuff.

I thought this would interest some of you like it did me: http://www.educents.com/the-old-schoolhouse-planner-coupon.html.

The ihomeschool omnibus is in August...
http://www.homeschoolomnibus.com/
I'm guessing some of the same things will be included, but it will be $25 for the whole set.
I usually own a big chunk of the Omnibus making it not worth it for me. It will be interesting to see what it contains this year.

Regarding the Ellen McHenry items, maybe it's that there are two items in Botany? There's a teacher's guide and a student text. That could be the mysterious fourth item. :)
I have Mapping the World with Art on my wishlist for as my kids get older so I will probably do the build your own option to get this and her others since it's such a great deal.
I'll probably get the Writing Guides for Children as number four and not sure what else.
You are probably right! Glad you solved the mystery. :)
Has anyone bought the Mom bundle? It is tempting me, but I'm on the fence at the same time. Today is the last day to decide.

We took a couple of his classes and enjoyed them. He seems nice! My absolute favorite classes are Literature Lane's. She is a newer teacher but we've been through four sets of her classes plus one of her one day classes and have been so impressed. I have bought all of her classes except one (a hockey one just isn't our thing) through the end of the year. I also really like Founder's Academy classes although her classes have a completely different feel. I find the reviews are pretty accurate on Currclick. It will say next to the reviewers name if they have made a purchase, so you know they actually paid for what they are reviewing.
