I am HIGHLY alergic to perfume. God, I would now be at the ER on a respirator...:ack2:

It is as though an effeminate skunk scooted his grungy little behind across every inch of carpet in my house. :ack2:
Thank you, Lord, that I am not pregnant right now...
Now That IS funny!:lol::lol:

Yeah, I agree the old boards were more converational. But I do like all the smilies and extras. I know that it helps me get my "tone" across better than the old board.:001_smile::001_smile::001_smile:

I thought it was so funny though because of the other LLLLOOOONNNGGG thread about being a thread killer.:tongue_smilie: Just to clarify, I am looking for laughs not sympathy:p!

I think that's probably the root of the problem for me, too. SOTW just doesn't seem to incorporate enough Bible for us. So now I am wondering... do you enjoy MOH? Why or why not? I'm looking at that, too, and thinking that it would be perfect for us in the future (or for me to use now on my own as a learning parent). So, please let me know what you think of MOH. Thanks!
This year we have done SOTW with MOH to get the bible in it. My dc did not get into MOH at all. I think MOH is good for the logic stage or older. I was looking for a history program that had a biblical worldview. We decided to go with My Father's World. It uses SOTW 2,3,4.

I don't know if these two recommendations would help you because of other ingredients... But I do know that Hunt's brand ketchup and spaghetti sauce is one of the few that doesn't have High fructose corn syrup and Wal-Mart brand 100% whole wheat bread doesn't have it either.
Hope I've been helpful:001_smile:

Explorers Bible Study for more in-depth systematic teaching. The expectations are realistic, i.e. age-appropriate and would prepare future studies by teachiong a study method.

Do you or your kids just eat the hollow chocolate bunny or (like mine) insist that they pour milk inside and have a edible cup of milk?;)

The book of John or Psalms/Proverbs would be good.
BTW, I just learned about a new bible for this age range. It's called the NIrV bible. This looks really good if you like the NIV version. They have a sample of it on CBD.:001_smile:

One at our library that is SO stupid. If it is a "new" book, you cannot recheck that book out. However, if there is another copy of the *very same book* on the shelf, you can, however, check *that* one out. Ok, I already have the book in my possession, but you won't let me recheck out copy A, but I can do copy B? Stupid, stupid, stupid!
My library has a crazy rule too. I was doing some research one time and there were 4 books on the subject. When I got to the check out desk they said I had to put some back because they have a rule that you can't check out all books on a specific subject. "It wouldn't be fair to others if someone came in looking for a book on the subject."
My lord, there were only 4 books...

I know someone who had a snake in her toilet. I'm pretty sure the snake didn't enter through the front door and slither into the toilet to take a nap.
I always look before I sit .
That's too funny!

When you are at the check out and the person behind pushes their cart into your body or if they don't have a cart they are standing right up next to you.
Come on people give me some room and Quit Being Nosey!:smash:
The last time this happened little shy me turned around and gave the person a dirty look and I said " Excuse Me!"
The cashier snickered and said "I see it all day long and I'm glad you're one that finally said something".....

We did SOTW1 this year and I'm thinking about doing MFW Adventures this coming year. If I like MFW I'll stay with it. MFW uses SOTW 2,3,4.

I always knew it was the top. Remember in the 70's and 80's when they had the floral print tp?? if you didn't put it on top you'd never see the pretty flowers!:lol:

We all start with 10 rep points, so unless somebody negative reps you right off the bat, you should have at least 10 when you hit 50 posts.
Duh! I knew that! Sorry!:leaving:
