  1. That's really rude. My reaction would depend upon who was the hostess and my attitude that day. On one hand it's flattering that they enjoyed your dish so much at a previous occasion. On the other it's rude that they only give you one day notice after you told them you'd bring something else weeks before. I don't always have the ingredients I need on hand so I may or may not be able to make a specific dish. Also, I may or may not feel like/have the time/have the money to get the ingredients needed for the requested dish. I'm thinking that I'd decline the requested dish and bring what I was planning. I may or may not go depending on how the host made me feel after graciously declining to bring the requested dish.  :leaving:

  2. My DS just got a summer job at the karate studio. She just said that he needs to give her two weeks notice of any time off. We already know our vacation schedule for the summer so I had him email her all the dates that he needs off. He's not doing the camps though.

  3. I thought that our family was complete after #4. Then we had a surprise pregnancy that ended in miscarriage. I knew that we had to have another child. Hence #5. Now I'm not sure if we're done. I'm going to be 45 this year!

  4. I've only had that happen once. I have three Aldi's that are fairly close to me. The one time they were really low on produce it was about 30 min before closing. One of the workers was cleaning the floors with the industrial mop/vacuum thing.

  5. The first mistake was the judge allowing the trial to be televised. The defense made the prosecution look like idiots. The two prosecution lawyers. Clark & Darden, hated each other. Cochran goaded them into having Simpson try on that glove. I never realized how good an actor he was. It was ridiculous! I was working so only watched the highlights on Court TV at night.

  6. I like having several different areas because there are so many different aspects to the refugee issue. Our ward did that for a visiting teaching topic. We started and ended together but were broken out into groups and went to 3-4 different rooms for different topics. Each presentation was 15-20 min long. I haven't been to one of our monthly meetings in forever. I would make arrangements to come for a topic like this one.

  7. I learned the clarinet when I was in grade school. Did marching band and concerts with our school. Didn't continue in high school. It's been forever since I've played. My kids want to learn piano so I'm going to have to learn that to teach them.
