I have a friend who use to work for a cleaning company called Merry Maids. She came and cleaned my painted walls with Bon Ami. It left no streaks nothing. It did not even take off the paint. I had handprints, pencil marks, and crayons. It took it off without stripping any of the paint.
I wish I had seen this sooner. I see that you used just the vinegar. Baking Soda and vinegar is good for a volcano experiment.

I have been on the K-8 boards for the last 3-4 years. I love the WTM boards. I mostly post on the K-8 curriculum boards. I use to be Karen's testimony. For a long time, there were sooo many Karens on the K-8 curriculum boards. I dropped the Karen and left Testimony.
I love homeschooling. I was called by the Lord God almighty to teach these children. I have been ever since they came out of my womb. You see, my husband and I were not able to have children for years. When God blessed us to have two, we knew that they had to be raised for Him. I love teaching and they love learning. My older one is very intelligent and is above grade level at least in reading. He does well in mathematics too. He scored in the 94th percentile in his IOWA tests. He is a determined young boy.
I love reading what others are using. I have read the Well Trained Mind. I have stopped using it as my guide. I continue to follow many of its principles and my son can't get enough of Story of the World.
Blessings!

We took our son there for his tenth birthday. We loved it. We did the meal plan. It was not free. We paid for our entire vacation before we got down there. The meal plan was great because when went 4 years ago, we paid close to $100 for a meal at Chef Mickey's for breakfast. We were only able to afford one character meal. However on the meal plan, our family enjoyed three character meals. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, or dinner without worrying about paying. Gratuities, taxes, and tips are included. I still have the receipt as my proof. You also get snacks at the park. So, I just gave them my key card and I had ice pops or popcorn for the kids. It was fun. Disney is doing a theme of fulfilling your dreams. Go to the guest relations at the park to see what they might be offering. I hope that you come back with lots of memories.

Do you use the Singapore math Teacher's guide?
in K-8 Curriculum Board
Posted
My son is in 4A&B for this year. I found the word problems to be very hard. I could teach the regular math stuff, but I used the Teacher's guide from Singapore Math. They do not give explanations for everything, but they gave me a lot of help with the word problems which is what I needed.
I wish you the best.
