I just bought 2 chairs there yesterday and they are defective as well:glare: I think they were Jules but not sure if I am remembering the name correctly. I live about 45 min away so I called and they are shipping me new parts. They said they would ship in 7-10 days.

I use it with my upcoming 2nd grader as more of a supplement to Math Mammoth. I like that she enjoys playing it so much and has made math more fun. I also like that it approches the same problem many different ways. Truthfully, I don't sit with her most of the time while she is doing it so I don't know if it could be used as a stand alone or not.

I always start with pancakes with whipped cream in a can (and coffee for me). One year, we took pictures and went to build-a-bear to make a "study buddy." I try to plan a field trip for the first day of school (or the first week if possible).
My girls would love the idea of having a study buddy from Build a Bear. Great idea!

Curriculum is not really changing so I am probably most excited about our new school desk:001_smile:

My girls seem to always wake up at 7 no mater what time they go to bed! Our normal routine is in bed by 7:30-8 but sometimes they are up until 10ish and they still wake up at 7 like clockwork. I wish they would sleep in a little on those days!!

I have never heard of this but it looks awesome! From the list on the website it looks like the film canisters are for keeping little things in and the dollar tree has small little clear canisters about the same size that might work.

My DD's favorite has been The Witches by Dahl. I was afraid she would be scared but she LOVED it!!!!!

My upcoming 2nd grader is enjoying it as well. She asks to play on it often.

My 4yo tried both and ended up liking gymnastics better. She loved the idea of ballet but it was not what she thought it would be. Gymnastics was so fun for her because it was very active and of course there was a trampoline:)

Most of the extra stuff that i have came from yard sales and consignment sales. I have gotten rid of a lot of the extra stuff b/c like everyone else we didn't really use it.

I have done it both ways and my kids enjoy it in a book rather than individual sheets. Something about having a school book makes them feel like they are doing big kid work! I didn't think it was a waste when I printed myself though but they just like having a book better.

I called my local store and they had an option (like press 3) for damaged items. She just needed a description of the damaged part and my receipt number. Hopefully they will mail you what you need too. Good luck!
