Was able to get in for a follow up with the oral surgeon post extraction. I had a couple of bone fragments work themselves out. All is healing well.
Stopped at the thrift store and found something eldest needed to get before a trip.
Filed some paperwork and gave the dog a bath. He is now all fresh and in his new sweater from the thrift store, it was $1. The other sweater I got him is too big, but it too was only $1, so no big loss.

Oh man...another crazy day at school there was a medical incident and I had to sub on my prep for the 2nd day this week (and yes, we are only 2 days in).
I have tomorrow off since eldest has an appointment. On the up side, it is first thing in the morning so I will have most of the day to relax.

Good gravy it's a long Monday. The first half of the morning already involved two things that shouldn't be happening in school. Nothing dangerous, just made it a crazy day.
Making pea soup for supper.

Can you just deed it vs sell it to an adjoining neighbor if it truly isn't worth much?

The basement is coming together. We took stuff out that is getting donated and got the Christmas boxes back under the stairs. Tree is up with lights, bubble lights, tinsel and the kids ornaments. End tables are assembled and speakers hooked up.
Made some soup and going to watch a Christmas movie.

Already went driving with eldest, teaching them to drive stick. Cleaning up basement and doing low voltage work (DH), putting up a tree in the basement and then putting Christmas boxes back under the stairs.

I am considering getting a walking pad, I'm curious if anyone has one and if they like it. I need to find a way to get more active now that it's cold out again.

Worked half a day and then had an appointment. I plan on lounging per doctor's orders for a while this afternoon. Nothing major at all, but she just said I might not feel like doing anything , I was up at 2:00 a.m. with insomnia so I'm a little tired . This evening I am meeting a former students mom because she has questions about the school my kids now attend.

I'm not sure yet. We usually cook a nicer meal Christmas Eve. On Christmas, we usually do cinnamon rolls and easy breakfast food (oranges, scrambled eggs, sausage, etc) and then finger foods the rest of the day.

Do you cook the hash browns and other veggies first?
No, the only thing I precook is breakfast sausage if I use it

What’s an egg bake? I’ve seen that term a couple times and I’m not sure what that is. Thanks!
Like a quiche, but more hearty. I use hash browns, diced pepper, onion, sausage or ham, eggs and cheese.

Work then ran to pick up something at a friend's, grabbed groceries and a cone of shame for the dog (he rubbed the top of his nose raw)
Got an egg bake in the oven for supper and ran bags of clothes to the drop off donations bin. 5 more bags out of here. Will shuffle some bins after I eat, they need to go out to the garage to get out of the way.

Plant acquired. Clothes loaded in the car to drop at a friend's tomorrow. I will probably load the rest of the stuff for donation after I returned from dropping that stuff off tomorrow.
Pot roast is in the oven so I just need to make some mashed potatoes and a vegetable.
Kiddos are meeting sister-in-law at the mall to do a little bit more walking for eldests college fitness class. (They need to get in so many miles for the semester).

Goal: make it through the day. New term today, new students.
Pick up a plant off of buy nothing this afternoon.
Bring clothes donations to collection bins
Load up clothes to bring to a friend so I can deliver after work tomorrow.

We sold (one of) our Christmas tree(s). It was really wide at the base, like over 5 ft so it didn't fit well in the space, Even though it was only 7 and 1/2 ft tall. I warned them that the box was large and even gave them dimensions. (54*16*20). They said oh yeah, we'll bring the Durango...showed up in a focus. It ended up having to be removed from the box and we folded up the box for them to take with. We did help them try a few different ways before resorting to that, the branches themselves filled up the whole trunk and back seat. It was kind of funny.
I finally finished everything I need for tomorrow's class, just have to go in a little early to get a few things printed.
I also set a time for someone to come and get homeschool books we are done with for tomorrow morning

Got some things brought out to the garage this morning. Went walking at the mall to get miles in for oldest gym class. When teens ask you to hang out, you do it. Then went to the music store and bought a couple of CD's. Grabbed some food and stopped at a brewery then took eldest driving to practice in the manual car.
Now I need to work on some work things to prep for the week.

Another crazy day. Who had "sent kids home if they could get a ride because we were missing 3 of our 7 teachers today" on their bingo card for the week.
Found out a couple of not great medical things regarding two family members. It's been a bit much.
