  1. Thought some of my fellow LotR fans might enjoy this. FYI: There is a rather graphic scene (Aragorn killing an orc) that might disturb young/sensitive viewers (there might be similar scenes later in the video, I haven't watched the whole thing yet -- dh and I are going to watch it together later this evening). Anyway, just wanted to share:

Editing to add: I just found another similar video (different filmmaker) that tells the story of Arathorn and Gilraen -- haven't seen any of this one yet, but I plan on watching it later this evening too:

  2. Cozy Grammar has a course on punctuation, but it's pricey:

I think I'd just pull examples from Evan Moor's Daily Language Skills or Daily Paragraph Editing. Or if you want something with more direction, I came across this Evan Moor resource the other day (but haven't used it):

    Hope this helps!

  3. Our boy (Border Collie x Golden Retriever) is Baxter. We often call him Baxi. Our girl (Rough Collie x Australian Shelpherd) is Molly. When we adopted Baxter, that was his name and it suits him so we kept it. Molly didn't come with a name, but she just *looks* like a Molly so that's what we named her. We enjoy calling her Molly-the-Collie. :) The names Baxi and Molly flow well together too.
